Another fantastic job well done and two thumbs up!

FANTASTIC! This takes place 5 years after the war for the Elpis stone and we really get to dive into the characters a bit more. It's also a good bit darker in parts and has LOTS of bloodshed. Not nightmare worthy bloodshed...but folks turn up dead a lot. I love that McGowan gave me resolution and a relatively happy ending, but he has also established these 2 kingdoms and these characters very well. I really full-on LOVED Lanek and Borely. I was on their side the entire time and was so hoping they would get the happiness they deserved. I think in the end, they all realized revenge gets you nowhere. It doesn't heal the pain of losing someone you love. It doesn't make you feel any better. I really feel like amongst the action, McGowan always throws in some life lessons, and that's refreshing. … Read More
